John M. Harris is a judge of the Florida 5th District Court of Appeal. He assumed office in 2018. His current term ends on January 5, 2027.

Harris ran for re-election for judge of the Florida 5th District Court of Appeal. He won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.

Harris was formerly a Brevard County judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Jeb Bush in 2006 to replace Judge Kerry Evander.[1] He was re-elected in 2008 and 2014.[2][3]

Harris obtained a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma University in 1988 and a J.D. from Florida State University in 1991.[1]
