John M. True, III was a judge for the Superior Court of Alameda County in California. He was appointed by former Governor Gray Davis in October 2003.[1] He retired on January 22, 2015.[2]

Education

True received a bachelor's degree from Trinity College and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law.[3]

2012 election

True ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, True was automatically re-elected.[4]
