John Marini is an American political scholar. As of May 2024, he was a professor of political science at the University of Nevada, Reno and a senior fellow at the Claremont Institute. According to his faculty profile page, Marini "has written extensively in the areas of American politics and public administration, focusing on the separation of powers and bureaucratic politics. He is the author of numerous articles on American politics and administration, budgeting, campaign finance and bureaucracy." During the administration of President Ronald Reagan (R), Marini served as special assistant to the chairman of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.[1]
