John E. Mattison, Jr. was a 2016 Republican candidate for the Rutland-5-3 District of the Vermont House of Representatives.

Mattison ran for the same district in 2014.[1]

Mattison was also a 2012 Republican candidate for Rutland 5-3 of the Vermont House of Representatives.

Mary Howard defeated John Mattison, Jr. in the Vermont House of Representatives Rutland-5-3 District general election.[2][3]

Elections for the Vermont House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 12, 2014. Incumbent Herb Russell was unopposed in the Democratic primary. John Mattison was unopposed in the Republican primary.[6] Russell defeated Mattison in the general election.[7]
