What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
| “ | 1) Responsible Tax Relief 2) Supporting Small Businesses |
” |
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?
| “ | I’m running for re-election to continue our effort of solving problems to maintain our quality of life, improve education, and support growing Omaha’s economy. Because after knocking on doors with neighbors for the last three years, we know that’s what matter to families of District 20. While in the Nebraska Legislature, I've been a recognized bipartisan leader, advocating for our military families and veterans, children, and taxpayers. I've also worked to pass key legislation to provide more oversight and transparency of state tax dollars. I remain committed to bringing people together around fiscally responsible solutions, while prioritizing our small businesses, public schools and middle class families. We need State Senators now more than ever that mix common-sense with broad coalitions to solve the problems facing our community.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[6]

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
