Biography

John McCollum was born in Leavenworth, Kansas. McCollum served in the U.S. Navy from 2010 to 2015. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in 2007. McCollum's career experience includes working in sales and in nuclear power.[1]

John is a U.S. Navy veteran who resides in Charleston, SC., with his wife and young son. Following graduation from the University of Kansas, John moved to live and work in New York City in finance. He then served as an enlisted sailor and officer in the Navy's Nuclear Propulsion program. After his honorable discharge, John briefly worked for a former Lowcountry Congressman, where he was introduced to the local startup community. John currently works full time for a Charleston-based tech company, while operating his own small business Chuck Wagon.
Helping people find meaningful work, raise good decent families, go to school, get good grades, pick up litter, and treat others with respect.
No - in fact its incumbent upon us as voters to ensure there is massive turnover in the House. It is what the founders deliberately wanted. Citizens participate for a finite amount of time, pass laws and go home to live by them. If one wants to be a professional politician then run for the Senate.
