John McCullough
John T. McCullough was a justice on the Illinois Fourth District Appellate Court. He was elected to this position in 1984,[1] effective December 3rd. He was last retained by voters in 2004.[2][3] He died on Oct. 30, 2012 at the age of 81.[4]
Education
Judge McCullough attended Lincoln College for his undergraduate degree. He then received his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1955. After this, he served in the Army for two years.[1]
Career
Judge McCullough has worked as judge since 1962, when he was elected county judge. He then, through transition, became a circuit judge. He was the Chief Judge of the 11th Judicial Circuit from 1974 until his election to the Appellate Court in 1984.[1]
