Biography

John McGowan was born in Rockland County, New York. McGowan earned a bachelor's degree from Saint Thomas Aquinas College and a J.D. from the New York Law School, where he was managing editor of the New York Law School Law Review. His career experience includes working as an attorney in private practice, as an assistant district attorney in the Bronx County district attorney’s office, and as senior assistant district attorney in the Rockland County district attorney’s office.[1]
