Ballotpedia survey responses
Messmer stated the following about his political philosophy in a biographical submission to Ballotpedia:[1]
“ | We need to fundamentally reform how Congress operates. Power is being abused and average Americans are being shut out of the process. It begins by tackling campaign finance reform, election reform, and ethics reform. Political reform need not have to be considered the most important issue, but it needs to be considered our first.
Political insanity is defined as trotting out the same candidates with the same message but expecting different results. For progressives to win the nation back we must appeal to the millions that have grown tired with our dysfunctional and corrupt political institutions. That starts by nominating reformers to Congress. [2] |
