John Millner is a former Republican member of the Illinois State Senate, representing District 28 from 2005 to 2013. Millner has also served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2003 to 2005.

Millner earned his Bachelor's Degree from Lewis University and a Master's of Public Affairs degree from Western Illinois.

Before becoming a Senator, Millner was the Chief of the Elmhurst Police Department from 1972 to 2003.
