John Morley, III (Republican Party) is a member of the Vermont State Senate, representing Orleans District. He assumed office on December 5, 2025. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.

Phil Scott (R) appointed Morley to the Vermont State Senate Orleans District on December 5, 2025, to replace Samuel Douglass (R).[1]

Biography

John Morley, III earned a high school diploma from Lake Region Union High School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont. His career experience includes working as a lineman and serving as Village Manager and an elected Trustee for the Village of Orleans. Morley has been affiliated with the following organizations:

  • Vermont Public Power Supply Authority
  • Northeast Public Power Association
  • Northeastern Vermont Development Association
  • Orleans/Essex VNA and Hospice[2]
