John Munro Woolsey
John Monroe Woolsey (1877-1945) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
He was nominated by President Herbert Hoover on April 18, 1929 to a seat created by 45 Stat. 1317. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 29th, and received commission that same day. On December 31, 1943, he assumed senior status and continued to serve in this capacity until his death on May 4, 1945.[1]
