John Napper is the Division 2 judge for the Yavapai County Superior Court in Arizona. He was appointed by Gov. Doug Ducey (R) on August 7, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Jennifer B. Campbell to the Arizona Court of Appeals.[1]

At the time of his appointment in 2017, Napper was a judge pro tem for the Yavapai County Superior Court. He was appointed to that position in December 2016.[1]

Napper earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Greensboro College and a J.D. from John Marshall Law School.[1]

Napper's experience includes work as the Yavapai County Public Defender, a senior capital attorney for the Maricopa County Office of the Legal Defender, and an attorney for the Coconino County Office of the Public Defender, The Napper Law Firm, and the Prescott firm Boyle, Pecharich, Cline, Whittington & Stallings.[1]
