John Nicholas is an associate judge for the 29th Circuit Court in Jasper County, Missouri. He was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for a four-year term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2018.[1]

Nicholas ran for election to the 29th Judicial Circuit Court, Jasper County associate judge position.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 54.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Mike Roberts.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [1][2] 

Education

Nicholas received both his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Oklahoma.[3]

Career

From 2007 until his election to the 29th Circuit Court in 2014, Nicholas served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Jasper County. He also previously worked as an attorney in private practice.[4]
