The Augusta County School Board is a seven-member board elected by district to four-year terms. The 2015 election was the last election for all seven seats to appear on the ballot at the same time. The general election was held on November 3, 2015.

Middle River District incumbent David Shiflett, North River District incumbent Nicholas Collins, Pastures District incumbent John Ocheltree, South River District incumbent Timothy Quillen, and Wayne District incumbent Timothy Swortzel all ran unopposed and won re-election to their seats. Since no candidates filed to run for the Beverly Manor District or Riverheads District seats, they were filled by write-in candidates Jeremy Shifflett and John Ward, respectively. Shifflett defeated fellow write-in candidates Kris Sacra and Helene Stroop.[3][4]

This election featured a change in the district's election system to staggered four-year terms. The Beverly Manor District, Middle River District, and Pastures District candidates won two-year terms.[5]
