John Odom (North Carolina)
John Odom was a member of the Raleigh City Council in North Carolina, representing District B. He assumed office in 1993. He left office in 2015.
Odom ran for election for an at-large seat of the Raleigh City Council in North Carolina. He lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Odom served in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969. His professional experience includes serving as the executive director of the Greater Raleigh Merchants Association and owning three Meineke car care centers.[1]

The city of Raleigh, North Carolina, held municipal elections for mayor and city council on October 10, 2017. A runoff took place on November 7, 2017, in those races where no candidate received a majority of the vote. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was July 21, 2017. All seven council seats were up for election.
Incumbent David Cox defeated John Odom in the Raleigh City Council District B municipal election.[2]
