John Olson was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Oklahoma.[1] Olson ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 26, 2012.

Olson was defeated by Republican Jim Bridenstine.[2] Olson ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Oklahoma's 1st District. Olson won the nomination on the Democratic ticket. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was April 13, 2012. Olson sought to unseat incumbent Rep. John Sullivan (R). Olson ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 26, 2012.
