John Olszewski Jr. (Democratic Party) (also known as Johnny O) is a member of the U.S. House, representing Maryland's 2nd Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2025. His current term ends on January 3, 2027.

Olszewski (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the U.S. House to represent Maryland's 2nd Congressional District. He declared candidacy for the Democratic primary scheduled on June 23, 2026.[source]

Biography

John Olszewski, Jr. was born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1982.[1] He earned a bachelor's degree from Goucher College in 2004, a master's degree from George Washington University in 2005, and a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County in 2017. Olszewski's professional experience includes working as a teacher in the Baltimore County Public Schools system, a senior manager of legislative affairs at the City of Baltimore, a software executive at SAS, and the executive of Baltimore County.[2][3]
