John P. Maiocco, Jr.
John P. Maiocco, Jr. was a judge trial referee on the Fairfield District Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] He was appointed to the court in 1978 by former Governor Ella Grasso and served until his death on November 14, 2014.[2]
Education
Maiocco received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut.[2]
Career
Before he became a judge, Maiocco served as a state representative, as a probate judge, and as the president of the Common Council of the City of Bridgeport. He also previously worked as an attorney in private practice in Bridgeport, Connecticut.[2]
