Sex offender registry injunction

Judge Murphy issued a temporary injunction when the state sex offender registry published the names and addresses of all Nebraska sex offenders. His order was later vacated by federal Judge Richard Kopf and the case was moved to federal court. Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning referred to Murphy as an "out of control... rabble rouser." After being challenged for ignoring the injunction, he added, "Murphy’s a piece of work, let me tell you."[5]
