John Percy Nields (1868-1943) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

He was nominated by President Herbert Hoover on June 20, 1930 to replace Hugh Martin Morris. He was confirmed by the Senate on July 3rd of that year, and received commission that same day. On September 30, 1941, he assumed senior status and continued to serve in this capacity until his death on August 26, 1943.[1] Nields was succeeded in this position by Paul Leahy.
