I am a retired Police Officer after nearly 3 decades, community volunteer and activist for over 30yrs, and animal conservationist for nearly 40yrs. Married for 30yrs to my best friend with 22yr old twins.
  • I have spent nearly 3 decades Serving and Protecting the Downriver area as a Police Officer. I will continue to do so as Your State Representative.
  • We must bring back Skilled Trades training in High Schools and ensure our children get the best education possible.
  • We need to send a Cop to Lansing to restore Law & Order in the Capitol, especially with our Governor's RECKLESS / DANGEROUS / UNCONSTITUTIONAL Executive Orders!
Public Safety: With the movement to defund Police it would leave our families and communities un protected.

Infrastructure: Our bridges and underpasses are crumbling and unsafe. We must have the right people in place actually doing their job and inspecting for safety. We must ensure safe roadways for our citizens.

Education: Schools in need of repair, classrooms over crowded, failing curriculums, & the list goes on. We must ensure our students get the best possible education.
The list is long and varied. I look up to Rosa Parks, a universal symbol of strength / poise / resilience. President Trump, a man who has proven so many wrong and that he is a man of character and beliefs. He has shown that we do not need life long politicians who accomplish nothing. My Lord and Savior Jesus, nothing more need be said there.
Loyalty to the citizens, honesty about all decisions made, transparency of the process, and the determination to do what is right for the citizens.
A state that allows Everyone to be who they are without fear of Shaming or Bullying just because you are or have different views. Where you can have a successful career that supports you and your family without drowning you on Student Loan Debt. Where you and your family are safe and protected. Where you have a right to vote without the fear of a fraudulent system. A legacy that everyone knows I severed with honesty and integrity and did EVERYTHING I could to bring about the state I dream of.
The Oscar Meyer jingle from the 70's ugh.
Dealing with the growing extreme lefts belief that no one has a right to believe differently than they do. The belief that the Constitution is meaningless. The belief that it is ok to hate our country, but, demand it's freedoms. The belief that we should not put our country and our citizens first.
The House of Representatives allows for a more concentrated view of the needs of the citizens, due to the smaller districts. This means that needs of the communities can be better voiced and brought before the body. The Senate covers broader views and concentrates on the state more as a whole than the individualized view of the house.
No, absolutely not. A fresh perspective allows for a better representation than the "Business as Usual" workings of Professional Politicians. We need term limits on EVERY Level of Political Offices.
The loss of manufacturing jobs due to the push from Obama / Biden to send those jobs overseas. We must return skilled trades training, which allows for successful careers without drowning another generation in Student Loan Debt.
A working non-partisan relationship. We have a Governor who is out of control issuing unconstitutional executive orders based on party decisions and not the needs of the citizens. A Governor who refuses to meet with or talk to the Legislature and tries to cry victim.
Yes. Again the issues should be looked at on a non-partisan level. Legislators should be able to cross party lines to ensure the citizens needs are taken care of regardless of party wants.
I favor a process that gives EVERY voter and EQUAL Voice.
As a first time candidate I would prefer to focus on being the best State Representative I can be. Once I have settled into the chaos of Lansing and feel I am serving my constituents needs I would be interested in looking into a leadership role.
Joe Bellino. He is an honest man with honor and integrity who serves his district well.
As a first time candidate I would prefer to focus on being the best State Representative I can be. Running for a higher office would be something to look into when I am nearing the end of my term.
A man told me of how his father died in an ambulance waiting for a train on Allen Rd. in Woodhaven. This is especially impactful since my opponent voted no on SB149 which earmarked funding for an underpass at that particular location. It is senseless that this matter has not been resolved and voted on based on Party wants, not the needs of the citizens.
