John Quackenbush
John Quackenbush is the former Chairman of the Michigan Public Service Commission. He served in this position since October 2011 until March 31, 2016 when he resigned from office.[1][2]
Biography
Quackenbush previously served in a senior financial analyst role with the Illinois Commerce Commission. He also worked for Spring in their Treasury and Local Telecom Divisions. He then served for 10 years with UBS Global Asset Management. He has been honored as a Top Gun U.S. Industrials Investment Mind in 2011 and was certified as a Chartered Financia Analyst (CFA) in 1993. He is a member of the CFR Institute and CFR Society of Chicago. He also previously was a board member of the Society of Utility and Regulatory Financial Analysts.[3]

Quackenbush was appointed to the Michigan Public Service Commission by Gov. Rick Snyder on September 15, 2011. He officially joined the commission October 17, 2011 for a his six-year term.[1] Quackenbush announced his early resignation from the commission in January 2016, which took effect March 31, 2016.[2]
