John R. Miraldi is a judge on the Lorain County Court of Common Pleas. He was elected to the court on November 6, 2012 and assumed office on January 2, 2013. His term expires in 2019.

2012 election

Miraldi defeated Chris Cook in the Democratic primary on March 6, winning 51.63% of the vote. He was elected to the court after running unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]

Education

Miraldi received his B.A. in business administration and political science from Heidelberg University and his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law.[4]

Career

After graduating from law school, Miraldi worked at the law firm of Miraldi & Barrett Co. until 1999. From 1999 until his election to the bench, he practiced law at his own firm John R. Miraldi Co.[5]
