John Race
John R. Race was a judge for the Walworth County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He was appointed by former governor Tony Earl in August of 1984 to succeed John Byrnes.[1][2] Race retired in January 2014 and was succeeded by Kristine E. Drettwan.[3]
Education
Race received a bachelor's degree and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.[4]
Career
Race was admitted to the bar in 1960. Prior to becoming a judge for the Walworth County Circuit Court, Race worked as an attorney in private practice in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.[2]
