NAIFA successfully advocated for the Senior Safe Act, signed into law in May 2018.

Education - It wasn’t that long ago that Iowa ranked first in education. The state welcome sign read, “Welcome to Iowa - A State of Minds.” Today we’re 20th and dropping. We need leaders who will invest in our most valuable resource, our students and support our teachers.

Small Businesses - Eighty percent of Iowa’s economy comes from small businesses. When corporations own politicians, small businesses become marginalized and ignored. We need to support and invest in our small businesses to maintain local economies, keep them vibrant and make our state healthy.
