John Resman (Republican Party) is a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 121. He assumed office on February 16, 2017. His current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Resman (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 121. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Representative Resman attended Park University and William Patterson University. He served in the United States Army and Kansas' National Guard. Resman's career experience includes working as a corrections officer and an employee in Johnson County's sheriff's office. He has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, the Johnson County Charter Commission, and the Johnson County Park and Recreations District.
Resman joined the Kansas State House of Representatives in 2017. In the 2019 session he was a member of the Corrections and Juvenile Justice Committee, the Federal and State Affairs Committee, and served as vice chair of the Transportation and Public Safety Budget Committee.[1]
