John Reynolds (Wisconsin)
John W. Reynolds (1921-2002) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.[1]
Reynolds was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on October 13, 1965, to a seat vacated by Kenneth Grubb; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 21, 1965, and received commission that same day. From 1971-1986, he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on August 31, 1986. He served the Eastern District of Wisconsin until his death on January 7, 2002.[1] Reynolds was succeeded in this position by Joseph Stadtmueller.
