John H. Rich III is a federal magistrate judge with the United States District Court for the District of Maine. He was first appointed to this position on April 8, 2008.[1][2] He retired on April 1, 2022.[3]

Education

Judge Rich was born in 1956 in Bronxville, New York. He received his A.B. degree from Bowdoin College in 1978 and his J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982.[4][5]

Professional career

Rich was admitted to the practice of law in 1982.[4]
