John Rosenfeld was born in Iowa City, Iowa. He earned a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in 1990 and attended Iowa State University. His career experience includes working in agriculture. He has been affiliated with the Cerro Gordo County Republicans, National Rifle Association, and Iowa Liberty Network.[1]

It is essential to build relationships with legislators in order to be effective.
I do not have aspirations for any other office. If I am needed to serve for the benefit of our state or nation in any capacity, I would consider doing so. Right now, I am needed in District 60 in North Iowa
Emergency powers should be extremely limited and must include oversight by neutral parties to assure accountability and protect from abuse.
