John S. Carlin

John S. Carlin is a Lee County judge of the 20th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected to this position without opposition in 1996, and he was re-elected by voters in 2008 and 2014.[1][2][3] His current six-year term expires on January 4, 2021.[4]

Education
Carlin received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Ohio State University.[1]
Career
Carlin began his career as an assistant state attorney for the 20th Circuit and as a private practice lawyer. In September of 1990, he was elected to the Lee County Court, where he served until his election to the 20th Circuit Court in 1996.[1][6]
