John S. Ferrara
John S. Ferrara was an associate justice for the Massachusetts Superior Courts.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on November 22, 2011, and was confirmed by the Governor's Council on December 21, 2011. He replaced retired Judge C. Brian McDonald.[2][3] Ferrara may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[4]
Education
Ferrara received his B.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1975 and his J.D. from the Western New England School of Law in 1983.[2]
Career
Ferrara practiced civil and criminal law at Dalsey, Ferrara and Albano in Springfield, Massachusetts, for 27 years prior to his judicial appointment in 2011.[2]
