John S. Hall, Jr. is a judge for the Warren County Surrogate's Court and the Warren County Court. He is also an acting justice for the Washington County Supreme Court in the 4th Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2006 to serve in Warren County. He has served on the Warren County and Surrogates' Courts since 2004.[1]

Education

Hall received his B.A. degree from Ithaca College in 1972 and his J.D. degree from the New England School of Law in 1978.[1]

Career

Hall began his career in 1978 as a sole practitioner and trial attorney. He worked in this capacity until 2004. Also, from 1989 to 2003, he was a Warrensburg Town Attorney. He was elected to the Warren County and Surrogate's Courts in 2004. He was appointed an Acting Supreme Court Justice in 2006 and was reappointed in 2008. In 2009, he served as an acting justice of the Kings County Supreme Court, Criminal Term (2nd Judicial District).[1][2]
