John Salazar was an at-large member of the San Dieguito Union High Board of Education in California. He was first elected in 2010.[1] Salazar did not file to run for re-election in 2018.

The election in San Dieguito Union High featured three seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election.

Three at-large incumbents, Barbara Groth, Amy Herman and John Salazar, were up for re-election. Herman, Salazar and challenger Maureen "Mo" Muir won election to the three seats by defeating Groth, Rimga Viskanta, Simeon Greenstein and Steve McDowell.

Funding

Salazar filed Form 470 to indicate he would not be spending or receiving more than $1,000 in this election. Because of that, he did not have to file any additional campaign finance reports.[2]

Endorsements

Salazar was endorsed by the Republican Party of San Diego County.[3]
