John Sampson was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 25 of the Colorado State Senate.

In August 2008, Sampson retired from the United States Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).[1]

Sampson ran in the 2012 election for Colorado State Senate District 25. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 26, 2012. He was defeated by Mary Hodge (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
