John Shaughnessy
John Shaughnessy was a candidate for District 12, Division 2 of the Kentucky District Courts in 2010.[1]
Shaughnessy has worked as partner in a general practice law firm since 2005. Previously, he served for 7 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and over 3 years in the Kentucky National Guard.
Regarding his candidacy, Shaughnessy stated, "My opponent is accepting donations through his website and has had at least one fundraiser sponsored by local attorneys. I have financed my own campaign, have not held any fundraisers and will not accept any donations. Thus, when elected I will not be obligated to anyone and can truly be fair and impartial."[2]
