John Shrode
John Shrode is a judge of the 358th Judicial District Court in Ector County, Texas. He was appointed by Gov. Greg Abbott (R) on December 29, 2020, for a term set to expire on December 31, 2022.[1]
Education
Shrode received his undergraduate education from Texas Tech University, his master's degree from The University of Texas Permian Basin, and his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.[1]
Career
At the time of Shrode's appointment, he was an attorney in private practice. Shrode also previously served as a prosecutor for the Ector County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to his service in Ector County, he served as a prosecutor for the El Paso District Attorney’s Office for 11 years.[1]
