John Springsteen
John Springsteen is a member of the Alaska Regulatory Commission. He assumed office on July 1, 2024. His current term ends on March 1, 2030.
Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R) appointed Springsteen to Alaska Regulatory Commission on July 1, 2024 to replace Jan Wilson.[1]
Biography
Prior to his appointment to the Alaska Regulatory Commission, Springsteen served with the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority from 2014 to 2019, serving as Executive Director from 2015 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Springsteen served as Alaska Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development[2]
In 2021, Springsteen joined the administration of Governor of Alaska Mike Dunleavy (R), serving as a policy advisor and liaison to the state of Alaska’s state-owned corporations and authorities. [3]
Education
Espindola earned an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Masters in Business Administration from Northwestern University. [4]
