Stalnaker's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[2]

Educating Our Children For The Future

  • Excerpt: "A world class education should be available to all of Nebraska’s children. As a father and candidate for legislative district six I will make this my highest priority. I will work to ensure our schools are properly funded and that good teachers, modern technology, and a safe learning environment are available to all."

Tax Reform And Continued Job Growth

  • Excerpt: "The growth of our community over the last decade has put us on numerous “best” lists. I promise to work to ensure that our state’s tax code and business regulations are fair. They must work hand in hand to create new opportunities for both our businesses and our work force."

Ensuring Safe Neighborhoods

  • Excerpt: "In order for our children to excel in education and for our businesses to grow, we must provide safe neighborhoods and business districts. I promise to consider all options to encourage and enforce the goals of our criminal justice system. For Nebraska to continue to be a great place to live, work and raise a family, our friends and neighbors need to feel safe at home, at school, and at work."
