John Stanley was a judge for the New York City Housing Court of New York County, New York. He was appointed to this position in 2005 and was reappointed in 2010 and 2015.[1][2]
Education
Stanley received his B.S.W. degree from Adelphi University and his J.D. degree from the Washington University School of Law.[1][3]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Stanley worked: as a law clerk for the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission; for Municipal Employees Legal Services (MELS) D.C. 37, Housing Unit; for the New York City Department of Housing as a Preservation & Development Landlord of the Tenant Litigation Unit; and for the Housing Unit of Legal Services for New York City. He was appointed to the New York City Civil Court in 2005.[1][3]
