John Stanley Webster
John Stanley Webster (1877-1962) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
He received a recess appointment from President Warren Harding on April 28, 1923 to replace Frank Rudkin.[1] On December 15, 1923, he was nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 16, 1924, and received commission that same day. He assumed senior status on August 31, 1939. He served until his death on December 24, 1962. Webster was succeeded in this position by Lewis Schwellenbach.
