John Strasser is a former member of the Madison City Council in Wisconsin, representing District 14. He served from 2013 to 2015.[1]

The city of Madison, Wisconsin, held elections for mayor and city council on April 7, 2015. A primary took place on February 17, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 6, 2015.[2][3]

In the primary election for District 14, incumbent John Strasser and Sheri Carter advanced past Linda Franklin.[4] Carter defeated Strasser in the general election.[5][6]
