John T. Kelley is a judge for the Vicinage 4 Superior Court in New Jersey. Kelley serves on the Civil Division and has been on the bench since 2008. He was reappointed for tenure in December 2014. Kelley will be able to continue serving until 2018, when he reaches the mandatory retirement age.[1][2]

Education

Kelley received a J.D. from Rutgers University-Camden.[2]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge for the Vicinage 4 Superior Court, Kelley had an extensive legal career. He began his first legal position in 1973, working as an attorney with the law firm Forkin & Klein, Quinlan & Dunne. He then went on to serve as an assistant prosecutor for Camden County, as a shareholder in Baskin, Flaherty, Elliott, Manning & Gormley, and as a partner in various law firms such as Quinlan, Dunne & Kelley, Saul, Ewing, Remick & Saul and Kelley, Wardell, Annin & Baxter.[3]
