John Tassoni
John Tassoni (b. October 29, 1958) is a former Democratic member of the Rhode Island State Senate, representing District 22 from 2000 to 2013. During his time in the senate, he served as Deputy Majority Leader.
Biography
Tassoni received his diploma from Smithfield High School in 1976. He went on to attend both New Horizon Computer Learning Center and George Meany Labor Institute. His professional experience included work as a Senior Business Agent for Council 94.[1]

Tassoni was re-elected in District 22. Tassoni defeated Republican David Bibeault in the November 2 general election. He was unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary.[3][4]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Tassoni was re-elected to the 22nd District Seat in the Rhode Island State Senate.[5] Tassoni raised $83,382 for his campaign, while Bibeult raised $700.[6]
