John Terry was a judge on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He was appointed to the court by President Ronald Reagan in 1982. Terry took senior status in February 2006 and retired in 2016.[1]

Education

Terry received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his J.D. from Georgetown University.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Terry was the chief of the Appellate Division of the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.[1]
