John Thomas (Republican Party) is running in a special election to the Virginia State Senate to represent District 15. Thomas declared candidacy for the special 2026 election.[source]
Thomas also ran for election to the Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 76. Thomas lost in the general election on November 4, 2025.
Biography
John Thomas graduated from Lloyd C. Bird High School. Thomas' career experience includes working in grocery retail, defense contracting with the U.S. Army and Missile Defense Agency, and tactical training with Blackwater USA. He is also certified as a Glock factory armorer and has worked in ATF compliance and logistics.[1]
