John Treadwell

John Treadwell is a judge on the Vermont Superior Courts in Vermont. He was appointed by Gov. Philip Scott (R) on October 6, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Karen R. Carroll to the Vermont Supreme Court.[1][2]
Biography
Treadwell earned an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.[2]
At the time of his appointment to the bench, Treadwell was the chief of the Criminal Division in the Vermont Attorney General's Office. His professional experience also includes work as a special assistant U.S. attorney and as a deputy state's attorney for Chittenden County.[2]
