John Tuma
John Tuma is a member of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. Tuma assumed office on February 2, 2015. Tuma's current term ends on January 4, 2027.
He has served on the commission since his appointment by Gov. Mark Dayton (D) on February 2, 2015.[1] He was reappointed to a second term on March 25, 2021. His current term will expire on January 4, 2027.[2]

Career
Tuma has a Northfield-based law practice specializing in workers' compensation, criminal and real estate law. He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1995 to 2002. Tuma worked as a government relations associate with Conservation Minnesota prior to his appointment to the commission.[1]

Tuma joined the commission following his appointment by Gov. Mark Dayton (D) on February 2, 2015. He replaced David Boyd, who served on the commission from 2007 to 2014.[1]
