I grew up in a small town, where I worked for multiple dairy farmers while attending high school. In 1989, I enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in the Persian Gulf, working as a helicopter mechanic during several campaigns. It was during my time in the military that I met my wife, with whom I've shared over 30 years of marriage and raised a family of 10 children.

After leaving the military I decided to attend college. Despite facing numerous challenges, including a tragic accident involving my eldest son, I persevered and earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in December of 2002. I found success as a maintenance, project, and engineering manager in various companies and in 2011, I moved to Hastings for a position as the engineering manager at a biofuel company. However, when the company closed in 2014, it prompted a significant shift in my perspective of what was important.

Embracing a newfound sense of purpose, my family and I opened a discounted grocery store in Hastings. Our aim was to offer deeply discounted groceries with the intent of providing financial relief young working families and others. As we witness the gratitude of our customers, particularly those young families and single mothers, it affirms our decision to prioritize service over financial gain.

Today, eight of our 10 children have spread their wings across the country, leaving two at home—one graduating high school this year and the youngest a sophomore.
  • Get down on our knees and invoke God’s intervention. Without God's intercession all efforts to restore our Republic are futile.
  • Learn why and how the US was founded. Our founders were very deliberate, from the time they declared independence from England through the creation of the Constitution. As citizens of the United States, we must know our heritage; otherwise, we condemn ourselves to the same fate as other great and powerful nations throughout history.
  • Learn who the enemies are and their plans to defeat America. Our enemies, both within and without, do not keep very good secrets pertaining to their plans to destroy America. We must familiarize ourselves with documents such as the 45 goals to destroy America as written by Cleon Skousen in 'The Naked Communist', Saul Alinsky's 'Rules for Radicals', Karl Marx's 'Communist Manifesto', as well as the Quran's command to eradicate infidels and impose Jihad worldwide. We must also understand who and how the CFR, Trilateral Commission, WEF, UN, etc., are and their nefarious plans to subvert the US as well. Knowing this will keep each of us alert and recognize destructive plans before they are embedded into society.
Any policy that separates our country from the Judeo-Christian morals upon which we were founded, such as abortion, euthanasia, marriage, the Supreme Court's fabricated 'separation of Church and state,' mutilation of the human being, sexual deviancy, open borders which bring attacks on the family with drugs and trafficking, attacks on the family through regulation and compliance destroying family businesses and farms, free trade agreements in which family businesses and farms cannot compete, attacks on our youth through immoral and amoral teachings in schools, government attacks on families through welfare, stealing the entrepreneurial spirit of people, and incentivizing licentiousness.
I look up to my parents, John and Margaret Walz. My father was not motivated by prestige or money, his concern was to obey the second greatest law that Jesus articulated, treat others as you want to be treated. He is the most intelligent and wisest man that I've ever encountered, with a work ethic second to none. As for my mother, she has faithfully stood by my father with unwavering support, and has been an exemplary mother, blessed with all the qualities one could desire.
Every elected official needs these 7 virtues: Faith, Hope, Charity, Fortitude, Justice, Prudence and Temperance. Faith is the most dire of these because it is faith that gives a person the belief in things that are moral, including the other virtues.
My love for country is unsurpassed. The driving force behind my candidacy is to use every means at my disposal to revive our Christian heritage within our government and society at large. I firmly believe that this is the only path for our nation to withstand the onslaught of threats from both within and without. My motivation stems from a deep concern for the well-being of our children and grandchildren, aiming not only to safeguard their liberties but also to promote a resurgence of morality across society.

I am not motivated by money. Instead, my drive comes from a desire to attain heaven and to influence my family, friends, relatives, and all those I encounter toward the same goal. My allegiance lies solely with Almighty God, not with material wealth. With unwavering faith, I draw strength from the Lord to pursue my convictions.

My Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is ENTJ. They are decisive people who love momentum and accomplishment. They gather information to construct their creative visions but rarely hesitate for long before acting on them."
I'd like to be remembered as the guy that left everything on the field fighting to bring God back into our governments, society, and our daily lives.
My Godfather and uncle, Jerry Walz, was killed in a house fire along with three of my cousins and a hired man. I was 7 or 8 at the time.

The House comprises direct representatives of the people. Among the powers allocated to the House is the ability to originate spending bills. The most powerful thing the House can do in today's government is impeach judges and other government officials, ensuring accountability!
John Adams once stated, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." America started out as a very fragile and vulnerable country. However, since its inception, it has been a great country from the standpoint of virtue and morality and has subsequently grown into the most powerful country in world history. There is much dispute about the origins of the statement, "America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great," but it doesn't matter; I believe this statement to be true. Only by Divine Providence were the colonists able to defeat the English and create the freest country in the history of the world. A country where the laws are derived from God's laws, rights are given by God, a republic unifying many other republics existing only to protect those rights that God gave, through divine intervention created by the people and for the people, and to exist only as long as the people consent. Every fabric of our embodiment is derived from God's graces, and His ordinances are the underpinning of each of the state constitutions as well as the US Constitution. The health of our entire society, culture, government, economy, happiness, and peace is contingent upon adherence to the laws of nature and nature's God.

The most important challenge for America in the next decade is to return to our Christian heritage, to incorporate morality and virtue into all aspects of our lives and institutions.
With term limits, freshman elected officials rely heavily on established bureaucrats for guidance. This leads to lifelong aides and bureaucrats grooming freshmen representation for their own selfish purposes instead of what is best for the electorate.

Furthermore, a large portion of an elected body is always a lame duck. There is absolutely no accountability to their constituents because they cannot seek reelection. The favors and selling of votes to lobbyists increase dramatically for return favors and high-paying positions in the elected afterlife.

Perhaps the most damning argument against term limits is that once a great elected official terms out of office, the establishment will have 1000 candidates to take their place and millions of dollars to put them into office. A Constitutionally minded representative with all of the virtues necessary of a great statesman has only a handful of replacements behind him and likely lacks the funding to overcome the establishment's hand-picked candidate. If Andy Biggs, Matt Rosendale, or Matt Gaetz termed out there might be one or two underfunded quality candidates that try to replace them. However, the establishment will have a 1000 Pelosis to replace them and have the money to get them elected. Statistically, the government will eventually be filled with establishment people and the citizens would not have any representation in government.

While sympathizing with the frustrations driving calls for term limits, it's crucial to consider their ramifications. Term limits would prevent the re-election of beloved representatives and undermine accountability. Instead of fixed term limits, the founders opted for regular elections to hold representatives accountable to their constituents.

Ultimately, the root issue lies not in the number of terms but in civic education. Many citizens lack a basic understanding of government and history, which impacts their voting decisions.
An engineer, farmer, and doctor walked into a bar....no one was injured, they're all ok.
Compromise is acceptable when it falls within the constraints of the US Constitution. However, for decades, politicians have whittled away at the Constitution and our rights through 'compromise,' which is thoroughly unacceptable! Any legislator, president, executive, or judicial officer who acquiesces to a compromise in violation of the Constitution is in violation of his or her oath and should be removed from office.
I will fight tooth and nail to rein in the overreach of the federal government, and this includes all unconstitutional spending. Furthermore, I will fight for tariffs on imported parts and products to bolster American businesses' competitiveness in the market and contribute to the national treasury. By eliminating unconstitutional spending and implementing tariffs, we can reduce or eliminate income taxes to finance the federal government.
The House must use its investigative powers to root out criminal activity and waste within the government. In addition, all lobbyists and bureaucracies need to be under constant intense scrutiny. It should NOT be used to target average Americans.
Accountability in government is one of the most critical needs. We currently witness politicians and bureaucrats flagrantly breaking laws, including treason and bribery, with no repercussions. These individuals must be investigated, impeached, tried, and endure severe consequences for their criminal activities. For this reason, I would love to sit on the judiciary, oversight, or ethics committees.

Additionally, I have a huge interest in reviving small-town America and family farms. With this in mind, I have a strong interest in sitting on the agriculture, small business, or ways and means committees to influence the detrimental effects of government overreach into agriculture and American small businesses.
Omnibus bills are a travesty of the Founding Fathers' intent for Congress to spend our money in accordance with the Constitution. There is minimal transparency in these monstrous bills, laden with pork and unconstitutional allocations. Pelosi infamously stated, prior to the vote on Obamacare, "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it" This is a total dereliction of congressional duties. Any representative voting on bills without thorough comprehension violates their oath and is unfit for office.

These politicians have little or no regard for the blood, sweat, and tears that taxpayers shed to make a living. Most are content with plunging the United States into financial turmoil for the sake of buying votes for reelection, enriching themselves through illicit deals with lobbyists, or outright bribery.

These traitors must be rooted out, removed from Congress (as well as the executive and judicial branches), and tried for their criminal activity.

Campaign website

Walz’s campaign website stated the following:

Vision: SAVE THE REPUBLIC

To return the United States to its founding ideals as envisioned by our forefathers - a Christian constitutional republic, where the sovereign states formed a very limited federal government, with very limited enumerated powers, to unite as one country, while at the same time retaining their sovereign identities and powers.

Constitutional Adherence:

  • Advocating for a strict interpretation of the U.S. Constitution because our republic is rule of law, if we deviate from the rule of law then our law (constitution) is a worthless recommended guideline, and so anything goes.
  • Opposing federal overreach in areas not explicitly granted by the Constitution, such as education, healthcare, environmental regulation, and so forth. If there is a true desire to grant authority to the federal government to areas outside of the enumerated powers in the constitution then the constitution (law) must be formally changed.

Government Accountability:

  • Challenging the status quo of political leadership, demanding accountability from federal and state officials to their constitutional oaths.
  • Promoting transparency and integrity in government, free from the influence of special interest groups. One of Walz’s pet peeves is when bureaucracies hide behind classification in order to hide the truth, this is one thing Walz will try to address.

Fiscal Responsibility:

  • Addressing the national debt crisis by demanding constitutional government spending. There are so many issues that are existential threats to our republic, the debt is one of them.
  • Inflation, the hidden tax, is crippling Americans. Inflation, caused by inflating the money supply, comes very easily when it is just a push of a key on a keyboard or a piece of printed paper.
  • The federal reserve must be eliminated, we must get rid of the unconstitutional fiat currency and return to constitutional gold and silver backed currency.

Economic Empowerment:

  • Supporting small businesses and local communities by eliminating unconstitutional federal regulatory burdens.
  • Promoting fair trade policies that benefit American entrepreneurs, workers, and consumers as well as oppose exploitation of humanity in all countries.
  • Eliminating the unconstitutional US Department of Education. The federal government has no authority meddling in education with the exception of enforcing the criteria established by the ordinances, passed by the United States congress, for statehood. Religion, as defined by our founders as “...belief in the being and perfections of God” (1828 American Dictionary of the English Language; Noah Webster) shall forever be encouraged. This is a requirement for statehood and must be enforced “being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind” (Northwest Ordinance of 1787)

National Sovereignty:

I am an American, fortunately I was born a citizen of the United States, fortunately I grew up learning about our heritage. I chose to join the Marine Corps for the defense of the country that I was taught, and learned, to love. I have many family, friends, and fellow marines that have done the same. Many of them gave their lives or health in service to our country. It distresses me greatly to hear people talk of surrendering our sovereignty to globalists that have no interest in anything about our heritage. Globalists that want to steal our wealth and obtain power. [2]
