Biography
John Weinrich was born in Abington, Pennsylvania. He attended LaSalle College High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University. Weinrich’s career experience includes working as a licensed realtor with RE/MAX Action. He was also Director of Operations of Weinrich Bakery from 1984 to 1994.[1]

I promise to address and tackle the important challenges for our state with the greatest level of tenacity. I will "broker" productive advancement with both Democratic and Republican members of the assembly.

- 1st time in 80+ years, the district will have a choice of three candidates- voters can select the best qualified person to represent us
- Send a person to Harrisburg that is accountable to the people with no strings attached pay-backs promises
Reduce gun violence - Ban on large magazine assault weapons, but do not infringe on Pennsylvanians' right to protect ourselves and families
Elimination of the 2,400+ redundant offices of tax collectors for entire state - privatize the collection process and save many millions
Provide treatment options, not jail, for those suffering from addiction
Increase minimum wage - no increase in the past 11 years is unacceptable
Abolish the state store liquor business and create free enterprise with state regulation - lower prices and greater flexibility/hours for all
I have 25 years as a professional representative getting transactions closed. For the most part, both parties see the light and come to a "meeting of the minds," so to speak. I will use this acquired skill to accomplish the people's business in a productive manner. It is overdue to build a mult-party coalition and I am confident we will get amazing results for eliminating excessive real property taxes , reducing governmental redundancy, making our streets safer, creating jobs,jobs,jobs,etc...
One of the prime reasons I am seeking to be our representative is that the two establishment parties haven fallen short of producing any genuine meaningful progress addressing the community's most important issues. I am a seasoned RE/MAX Realtor with 25 years of experience in representing buyers and sellers in one of the most significant investments of their lives. I have personally and diligently handled hundreds and hundreds of real estate transactions, enabling me to build multi-party coalitions to work together to solve problems with a fresh new approach. I promise to address and tackle the important challenges ahead for our state with the greatest level of tenacity, "brokering" productive legislative advancement with all parties.I have traveled to 47 US states and over 23 countries and I know we have a tremendous Commonwealth! We need to make some improvements to enhance our lives and maximize the " best bang for our buck!"
I have run for the office twice, once as a Democrat and once as a Republican, against well paid staffs & enormous party machines and I can proudly say I earned and captured over 70 % of the entire district votes and in my hometown of Upper Moreland, I received over 80% of votes!!
Additionally, young people sit with me and when they find out how much the monthly charge on their mortgage is with real estate tax, they simply can not believe the high cost. The high cost prevents them from buying and they must wait years and save more money to bring down their monthly costs. Home ownership for our society is our bedrock economic foundation . Our kids deserve the best funded education money can buy. I am not suggesting lowering the funding whatsoever, I do know the time is grossly overdue to spread the funding out to all citizens using sales taxes, user taxes,income taxes,etc...
